Ukraine drones hit 11 Russian targets, including jets and radar systems

Ukrainian drone forces, operating under the designation "Birds of Madzhar," reported a significant series of strikes against Russian military assets, claiming to have hit 11 out of 14 designated targets. The operations, led by commander Robert "Madzhar" Browdi, focused on military infrastructure in Russia's Rostov Oblast, Krasnodar Krai, and occupied Crimea.

According to Browdi's statement on Telegram, the targeted assets included three aircraft: two fighter jets and an Orion reconnaissance-strike drone. The 1st Center for Unmanned Systems Forces was reportedly responsible for engaging these targets in Vitiazevo, Krasnodar Krai. Additionally, the unit claimed to have struck an anti-aircraft missile system, the Tor, in Pudovy, Rostov Oblast.

A substantial portion of the claimed successes involved Russian radar systems. The "Birds of Madzhar" reported attacks on Nebo-U, Kasta 2E2, and Podlot radar stations across Rostov Oblast and Krasnodar Krai. Crimea also saw reported strikes on a Nebo-U radar in Sevastopol, a 36D6M radar in Ujutne, and an ST-68 radar in Yevpatoria.

Beyond aircraft and radar, the operation reportedly targeted key air defense components. Browdi stated that a Pantsir-S1 missile-artillery system in Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai, was attacked. The unit's broader claims, including the destruction of an S-400 air defense system, underscore Ukraine's ongoing efforts to degrade Russia's aerial and electronic warfare capabilities.
