Ukraine's Air Defense Neutralizes 137 Russian Drones

Ukraine's air defense forces successfully intercepted and neutralized 137 drones launched by Russia in a wave of attacks that began Thursday evening. In total, 164 drones, including Shahed, Geran, and Italmas models, were deployed by the occupying forces.

The successful defense was a coordinated effort involving various branches of Ukraine's military. Aviation units of the Air Force and Ground Forces, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups all played a role in repelling the aerial assault.

These interceptions occurred across Ukraine's northern, southern, eastern, and central regions. In addition to the neutralized drones, debris from downed unmanned aerial vehicles was reported in four other locations. Sixteen areas also registered direct strikes from the airborne weapons.
