Ukrainian drone strike in Russia kills two children, hits Ozon warehouses

Two children died and seven others were injured when Ukrainian drones struck a child reception center in Russia's Krasnodar region overnight. Debris from the drones fell on the center, according to regional governor Veniamin Kondratyev. A fire broke out in one of the targeted Ozon e-commerce warehouses.

Ozon confirmed attacks on warehouses in Krasnodar, Adygeisk, Nevinnomyssk, and Makhachkala. The company reported injuries in Makhachkala, though not life-threatening. These strikes mark the third consecutive day that Ozon facilities have been targeted, following reports of an expanded campaign against Russian supply infrastructure.

Kyiv has been targeting warehouses of Wildberries, Russia's largest e-commerce company, for months, arguing they supply the Russian military. These attacks on warehouses, which have weaker defenses than military targets, have caused billions of dollars in damage, with some centers completely destroyed by fires. Moscow has criticized the strikes on "civilian infrastructure."

The attacks come as Ukraine celebrates its 35th independence anniversary and hosts a meeting of the "coalition of the willing." Meanwhile, Russia's Defense Ministry announced it struck a tanker carrying fuel and lubricants for Ukrainian troops in the port of Pivdennyi near Odesa, as well as port facilities used for military cargo.
