Ulsan's Cho Dong-gyeong Wins K League Player of the Round for Third Time

Ulsan HD's star forward Cho Dong-gyeong has once again been recognized for his outstanding performance, earning the K League 1 Player of the Round award for the third time this season. The Korea Professional Football League announced Cho's selection for Round 21, highlighting his continued impact on the league.

This latest accolade marks Cho's second consecutive Player of the Round honor and his third overall in the current season, underscoring his consistent form and crucial contributions to Ulsan's success. He was instrumental in Ulsan's commanding 3-1 victory over FC Anyang on July 2nd at the Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium.

During the match, Cho scored a brace, first netting a decisive goal in the 73rd minute after a scramble following a corner kick. He then sealed the victory with an expertly taken free-kick in the 77th minute, further solidifying Ulsan's lead and securing the win.

In addition to Cho's individual achievement, the K League 1 Best XI for Round 21 included players from various teams. Bucheon FC was recognized as the Best Team of the Round for their 3-0 away win against Gangwon FC. The match between Jeju United and Incheon United, ending in a 3-3 draw, was selected as the Best Match of Round 21.
