UMNO may go it alone if no agreement is reached

KANGAR: Cooperation and negotiations between UMNO and PAS in Perlis remain open in the name of Malay-Muslim unity.

However, state UMNO secretary Ruzaini Rais said he did not rule out UMNO moving alone in the state if talks between the two parties fail to produce an understanding. He said state UMNO had never closed the door to cooperation or negotiations.
