UNAM Entrance Exam Fraud Academy Shut Down; Students Demand Refunds

The "Más Preparación" academy has abruptly closed its doors and branches following the arrest of two of its professors, Edgar “N” and Alejandro “N.” The professors are accused of impersonating applicants during the entrance exam for the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

Students and parents have been seen gathering at the academy's central offices, located on Av. Wilfrido Massieu in the Gustavo A. Madero borough, demanding the reimbursement of fees paid. The academy's premises were found closed, with no information available to those seeking answers or their money back.

At the Lindavista branch, workers were observed covering the windows with polyethylene boards to prevent visibility into the facilities, while refusing to provide any details. A cleaning worker, who assisted the academy's owners with trash removal, stated that no one has returned to the offices. He described the owners as "scum" and mentioned they owed him money, expressing doubt about their return as they are "in the can."
