Unidentified Man Found Dead in Aircraft Wheel Well at KLIA 2

A grim discovery was made at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA 2) when airport staff found the decomposed body of an unidentified young man. The body was located in the wheel well of an aircraft that was parked in the airport's aircraft parking area.

The discovery was made around 7 a.m. by airport personnel conducting a routine inspection. According to KLIA District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner M. Ravi, initial checks found no identification documents on the victim. Furthermore, there were no visible injuries on the body, suggesting the death was not immediately apparent as a result of foul play.

Authorities estimate the deceased to be between 17 and 25 years old based on his physical size. The body has been transported to the Sultan Idris Shah Serdang Hospital's Forensic Department for an autopsy. The case is currently being investigated under the Sudden Death Reporting (SDR) procedure.
