Union Bank receives gender-inclusion award at WIMCA 2026

Union Bank of Nigeria has been recognised as the Most Outstanding Bank in Gender Inclusion at the Women in Marketing and Communications Conference and Awards, held in Lagos.

The bank said the award affirms its commitment to advancing gender diversity through an inclusive workplace and financial ecosystem. Its initiatives include tailored products, capacity building, mentorship, networking and wider economic opportunities for women, female entrepreneurs and professionals.

WIMCA was described as the largest gathering of female marketing and communications professionals on the African continent. The event brought together speakers including Union Bank Chief Brand and Marketing Officer Olufunmilola Aluko.
