Union leader Facundo Moyano detained after alleged domestic incident with model Candela Arizaga

Union leader Facundo Moyano was detained by Buenos Aires police early Tuesday morning after a report of a domestic incident with his partner, model Candela Arizaga. The incident occurred shortly after 5 a.m. when a 911 call alerted authorities to a young woman, identified as Arizaga, running naked in the Belgrano neighborhood.

Moyano was taken to Comisaría Vecinal 13A, where authorities are investigating the incident. According to a police report obtained by LA NACION, the building's superintendent stated that Moyano had left the premises precipitously behind a woman. Both were intercepted a few blocks away and reportedly showed signs consistent with drug use.

Arizaga, 23, a model and influencer from Rosario with over 300,000 Instagram followers, was transported by the SAME emergency medical service to Pirovano Hospital. She had previously dated singer L-Gante. Moyano, a former national deputy, remains detained, accompanied by his brother, labor lawyer Hugo Moyano.

A video circulating showed Arizaga, semi-naked and disoriented, running down an avenue in the early morning hours before emergency services arrived. The investigation is ongoing, and Moyano's defense may be handled by a criminal lawyer close to his family. The couple had reportedly been living in the Belgrano building since their marriage in 2021, though they separated in September 2023.
