Union Leader to Vote No on EU Membership, Cites Labor Market Concerns

He also pointed to the significant number of foreign workers arriving in Iceland from countries such as Spain, Italy, Greece, Hungary, and Poland, all seeking better economic opportunities and living standards. He shared an anecdote about a Polish couple who worked in Iceland for 12 years and saved enough to buy a house in their home country, illustrating the draw of better livelihoods abroad.
