Uruguay's Economy Ministry seeks process manager with $64,984 salary

Uruguay's Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) has announced an open public competition to fill a position for a process manager in cadastre and expropriations within the National Directorate of Cadastre.

The role is provisional for 12 months, with the possibility of permanent appointment thereafter. It offers a nominal salary of $64,984 for a 40-hour work week based in Montevideo. The position requires managing processes related to the control, analysis, and evaluation of cadastral data, appraisals, and property expropriations.

Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with cadastral regulations, reviewing and approving plans, advising on asset valuations, managing property information systems, and assisting in legal expropriation processes. Applicants must hold a degree in Surveying Engineering from a recognized university and possess at least one year of related experience in public or private sectors.

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), CAD software, and general computer skills, as well as experience in public administration and work related to cadastral values. The selection process involves competitive exams, evaluation of merits, and a personal interview, with a minimum passing score of 70 points required.
