US pop star D4vd allegedly impregnated 14-year-old girl he murdered

American pop star D4vd, identified as David Anthony Burke, 21, is facing serious allegations including impregnating a 14-year-old girl he is accused of murdering. New details emerged during a court hearing on Friday, as reported by the BBC and The Guardian.

Prosecutors allege that Burke met the girl online when she was 11. The sexual abuse reportedly began when she was 13 and he was 18. The girl became pregnant and had an abortion in 2024, at which point she was 13 and Burke was 19.

Burke was arrested last year for the murder of the 14-year-old girl. According to the prosecution, Burke allegedly stabbed the girl to death in September 2025, with the motive apparently being to prevent her from revealing the sexual abuse. The day before her 15th birthday, her body was discovered in the front trunk of Burke's Tesla.

Prosecutors presented iCloud data recovered from Burke's phone, which revealed text messages detailing a tumultuous relationship. The messages discussed the anxiety caused by the pregnancy and the couple's unpreparedness for a child. The girl later expressed regret over the abortion. The relationship had reportedly ended in 2024.

Burke, known for his music released under the artist name D4vd, gained fame as a teenager through his Fortnite gaming videos. In April, he had 22 million monthly listeners on Spotify and nearly four million TikTok followers. His world tour was canceled immediately after his arrest in September 2025. He faces seven charges, including murder and child sexual abuse. Burke has denied all charges.
