Uşak shopkeeper dispute ends in shooting, 13 injured

A violent confrontation erupted between shopkeepers in the Küçük Sanayi Sitesi industrial area of Uşak, resulting in 13 people sustaining injuries. The incident, which occurred around 6 p.m. yesterday, involved a dispute that quickly escalated into a shooting.

Reports indicate the altercation began between S.B. and his brother B.B., who are involved in steel roof and trailer manufacturing, and M.A., who operates a lathe business, along with his son E.A. The disagreement turned violent, leading to the firing of a shotgun.

As a result of the gunfire, M.A. and 10 other individuals, including nearby shop owners and bystanders, were wounded. Emergency services, including numerous police units and medical teams, were dispatched to the scene. The injured were transported to various hospitals in Uşak. M.A. is reported to be in critical condition.

Authorities have detained one suspect, identified as S.B., and an investigation into the incident is ongoing. The shooting caused significant panic and fear among those present in the busy industrial site.
