Valjevo Salaries Rise in June but Lag Behind National Average

In June 2026, the average net salary in Valjevo reached 110,826 dinars. This figure, while an increase from May's 105,643 dinars, still trails the national average by 9,575 dinars. The national average for June stood at 120,401 dinars, according to data from the Republic Statistical Office (RZS).

The gap between Valjevo's average earnings and the national average has narrowed compared to May, when it was 12,755 dinars. Across the Kolubara district, the average net salary in June was 107,725 dinars, also below the Serbian average.

Within the Kolubara district, Lajkovac recorded the highest average net salary at 111,446 dinars in June, though this still did not reach the national benchmark. Other municipalities with average net salaries exceeding 100,000 dinars included Ub (105,163 dinars) and Ljig (103,200 dinars).

At the lower end of the scale, Osečina reported an average net salary of 94,217 dinars, while Mionica had the lowest at 92,928 dinars. In contrast, the public sector in Serbia saw higher average net salaries, reaching 124,218 dinars in June, whereas entrepreneurs and their employees earned significantly less, with an average of 65,360 dinars.
