Vehicles Carrying New State Executive Council Members Arrive at Johor Palace

Vehicles believed to be carrying the new state executive council members began arriving at the Bukit Serene Palace grounds early Saturday morning. The convoy was observed entering the palace precinct shortly after 9 a.m.

Among those seen arriving was Lee Ting Han, the assemblyman for Paloh and former chairman of Johor's Investment, Trade, Consumer Affairs, and Human Resources Committee. He briefly acknowledged the media presence with a wave and a short "Okay, thank you all" before proceeding into the palace grounds.

The swearing-in ceremony for the new executive council members is scheduled to be held before the Acting Sultan of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail. The event will also be attended by Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, President of the Johor Council of Royal Court Datuk Dr. Rahim Ramli, and Johor State Secretary Datuk Mohammed Ridha Abd. Kadir.

This development follows Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi's reappointment as Menteri Besar of Johor for a second consecutive term. His Barisan Nasional coalition secured a decisive victory in the recent state elections, winning 48 out of 56 seats in the State Legislative Assembly.
