Venezuela Awards Lithuanian Rescuers and Medics for Disaster Aid

Venezuelan President Delcy Rodriguez has honored Lithuanian rescuers and medics for their crucial aid following a natural disaster. Rodriguez personally thanked Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, acknowledging the significant support provided by Lithuania.

The Lithuanian teams were awarded the Order of the Heroes of Venezuela for their contributions to disaster recovery and medical assistance. Their efforts included establishing a new mobile field hospital, a vital resource for the affected population. Lithuania had previously delivered humanitarian aid and specialized rescue equipment on July 2, demonstrating a swift and comprehensive response.

The Emergency Medical Team (EMT) from Lithuania played a key role, setting up the mobile hospital which provided much-needed medical care. This collaboration highlights the international effort to support Venezuela during its time of need, with Lithuania stepping forward to offer both expertise and resources.
