Vice President Gibran hears teachers' concerns during Aceh school visit

Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka visited SDN-7 Jangka in Bireuen, Aceh, on Thursday to observe the school's revitalization efforts and engage with teachers to understand their aspirations regarding educational services. This visit was part of his working trip to Aceh, focused on monitoring the development of vital infrastructure and expediting the recovery of areas impacted by the Sumatra disaster in late November 2025.

During his visit, the Vice President also inspected the progress of two key infrastructure projects: the Krueng Tingkeum Kutablang bridge and the Teupin Mane bridge. The government's ongoing efforts aim to accelerate the rehabilitation of educational facilities and public infrastructure to support the resumption of community activities following the disaster.

Vice President Gibran expressed his hope that the development of infrastructure and the restoration of basic services, including education, would hasten the recovery of the lives of residents in the affected regions. The government is committed to ensuring that these rehabilitation efforts contribute to a swifter return to normalcy for the communities impacted by the natural disaster.
