The Croatian women's national football team secured a crucial 1-0 victory against Kosovo in Pristina, avenging an earlier qualifying loss. The win in the fifth round of Group B matches in League C of the World Cup qualifiers puts Croatia level with Kosovo at the top of their group.

The decisive goal came in the 15th minute from an extraordinary effort by Janja Čanjevac, who scored directly from a corner kick. This masterful strike proved to be the only goal of the match, despite both teams creating several opportunities in the second half.

With this result, both Croatia and Kosovo have accumulated 12 points in the standings. Bulgaria follows with six points, while Gibraltar remains at the bottom with zero points.

Croatia's next match is scheduled for June 9 against Bulgaria in Pula. The team, led by coach Nenad Gračan, will aim to maintain their strong position in the group as they continue their World Cup qualification campaign.
