Vietnam Airlines Group Opens Sales for Nearly 5.5 Million Summer Tickets with Many Promotions

Vietnam Airlines Group is set to significantly boost its domestic flight capacity this summer, offering nearly 5.5 million seats between June 1 and August 16, 2026. This represents a 5% increase in flights and a 3% rise in seats compared to the previous year, catering to the anticipated surge in travel during the peak summer and school holiday period.

The airline group is strategically increasing frequencies on key routes linking Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with popular tourist hubs such as Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, and Da Lat. Additional flights will also serve cities experiencing high travel demand, including Buon Ma Thuot and Vinh.

To make travel more accessible, Vietnam Airlines Group is offering a wide range of attractive promotional fares, which will constitute up to 40% of the total seats available on many routes. The group is also utilizing off-peak hours, with early morning and late-night flights available at flexible prices, a strategy aimed at distributing passenger demand throughout the day and improving operational efficiency.

Further incentives include various online promotions, such as a "Quick Sale App" on Tuesdays offering up to a 10% discount, a "Thứ Năm Rực Rỡ" (Vibrant Thursday) promotion with discounts up to 15%, and a "Weekend Sale" providing up to 10% off all fare classes. The airline group has prepared its resources, including aircraft and personnel, and enhanced airport services to ensure smooth operations. They also recommend passengers book tickets early through official channels to secure desired itineraries and fares.
