Vietnam Railways Launches Specialized Train with Mobile Command Center for Online Meetings

Vietnam Railways has introduced a new specialized train, dubbed the "specialized train," which includes a unique command car equipped for conducting online meetings. This innovative service aims to provide a modern, multi-functional travel experience, transforming train journeys into mobile workspaces and operational centers.

The train comprises six distinct functional carriages: a command car, a 34-seat VIP car, a luxury six-bed sleeper, a 24-seat sleeper, a 56-seat rotating chair car, and a dining car. Each carriage is designed with specific roles, emphasizing modernity and flexibility. The command car, in particular, functions as a "mobile command center," featuring a conference table with 20 seats designed to maximize space and equipped with a large central screen and three auxiliary screens for clear visualization of information and live feeds.

This mobile command center is integrated with advanced online connectivity and equipment, enabling seamless virtual meetings and work processing during transit. To showcase its capabilities, Vietnam Railways held an expanded meeting of its Party Committee and Board of Members on the command car during the inaugural journey from Hanoi to Thai Nguyen on May 29.

Beyond the functional carriages, the train also features service robots capable of assisting passengers with various tasks, including delivery, guidance, information provision, and product introductions. Following its launch, the specialized train will be commercially operated across all Vietnamese railway routes, available for full-charter hire.
