Vietnam recovers one body, continues search after ship accident

Vietnamese authorities have recovered the body of one victim following the Khôi Nguyên 18 ship accident in the East Sea. The announcement came as 48 Vietnamese sailors, rescued through a joint effort by Chinese and Vietnamese forces, safely returned to shore on July 30 and reunited with their families.

Phạm Thu Hằng, spokesperson for Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, provided an update on the ongoing search and rescue operations. She confirmed the recovery of one deceased crew member and stated that efforts to find the remaining sailors continue with the highest resolve. Hằng expressed gratitude for the international support received during the rescue mission.
