Vietnam's Defense Minister attends inauguration of major public projects in Lam Dong

General Phan Van Giang, a Politburo member and Minister of National Defense, joined provincial leaders in Lam Dong to inaugurate two significant projects: the Gia Nghia Central Square and a combined Museum-Library-Park complex. The developments represent a substantial investment of over 500 billion VND (approximately $20 million USD) in the Bac Gia Nghia ward.

The completion of these two projects is not only a source of joy and pride but also places a great responsibility on managing, exploiting, and effectively promoting the state's investment resources.

Provincial Chairman Ho Van Muoi highlighted the projects' political, social, and cultural importance, viewing them as a testament to the central government's attention to Lam Dong's growth. He stressed that the successful completion reflects the determination of the political system, the cooperation of various sectors, and the support of the local population. The new facilities are expected to serve as venues for major events and attract visitors, promoting Lam Dong's image and cultural heritage.

After today's ceremony, I propose that the departments, branches, localities, and the People's Committee of Bac Gia Nghia ward exploit effectively and maximize the value of these works when they are put into use.

Muoi also underscored the responsibility that comes with these new assets, urging relevant departments and local authorities to manage and operate them efficiently. Vo Pham Xuan Lam, Secretary of the Bac Gia Nghia Party Committee, pledged close coordination to maximize the facilities' value, integrating them with local culture, commerce, and tourism. Residents like Phan Thi Hong expressed their enthusiasm for the new public spaces, anticipating enhanced recreational opportunities.
