Vietnam's National Assembly Chairman attends book launch by former President Luong Cuong

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended the launch of General Luong Cuong's book, 'The Strength of the Vietnamese Nation in the Cause of National Construction and Defense,' in Hanoi. The event commemorated the 81st anniversary of Vietnam's August Revolution and National Day.

The book features 51 selected articles and speeches from Luong Cuong's extensive career as a prominent leader within the Party and the State. Spanning over 400 pages, it aims to showcase his strategic vision and deep commitment to the nation's development and defense.

The publication is a collaboration between the National Political Publishing House Truth, the Office of the President, and the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army. It highlights Cuong's profound belief in the Vietnamese people, the armed forces, and overseas Vietnamese communities.

During the ceremony, General Luong Cuong received the commemorative medal 'For the Cause of Publishing Party and State Theoretical and Political Books.' The event was attended by former Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, and other leaders from various central agencies, military units, research institutions, and academic experts.
