Vietnam's Quang Tri Hosts Peace Festival with Historic Cycling Event

Quang Tri province, a region historically marked by conflict, proudly hosted the Festival for Peace 2026, a national and international event designed to resonate with the enduring desire for global harmony. This initiative, a collaboration between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee, seeks to not only honor the sacrifices of fallen soldiers and victims of war but also to actively call for international cooperation in building a sustainable peaceful world.

The cycling event across the historic Hien Luong Bridge, a potent symbol of Vietnam's past division and reunification, served as the vibrant opening for the festival's series of activities.
