Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior issued a public apology to the nation's fans following their shocking exit from the World Cup. The team suffered a 2-1 defeat to Norway in the Round of 16, a result that has deeply disappointed supporters. Vinicius Junior, a star for Real Madrid, expressed the "enormous frustration" felt by the squad and himself, acknowledging that they possessed a team capable of achieving more.

"I know how much I prepared, how much I focused, how much I wanted the World Cup for you, for my family," Vinicius stated in a message to fans on Instagram. He added, "The feeling of frustration is enormous. We had a squad strong enough to do more, and we didn’t achieve it."
