Violence in Sinaloa: Bodies of Murdered Couple Found in Higueras de Zaragoza; Identities Unconfirmed

A double homicide has occurred in the Higueras de Zaragoza district within the Ahome municipality of Sinaloa, Mexico, after the bodies of a man and a woman were discovered bearing signs of violence. The grim discovery was made by local residents near a trailer, prompting them to notify the municipal police and emergency services.

Upon arrival, authorities from the State Attorney General's Office began collecting evidence and testimonies at the scene. Initial findings at and inside the trailer suggest that the couple may have been victims of a stabbing attack. The investigation is now focused on identifying the victims and gathering all possible evidence and proof to apprehend the perpetrators.

The deceased individuals were transported to a funeral home in Los Mochis for autopsies.
