Despite stepping down from the presidency, he affirmed that his passion and love for Vitória SC would remain unwavering, and he would continue to support the team as a regular supporter.

He also emphasized the establishment of a strong foundation for youth development, evidenced by the promotion of B-team players to the senior squad, international youth titles, and a record number of call-ups for young players to national teams.
