Vladimir Putin thanks Sadyr Japarov for flawless SCO Summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin praised Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov for what he called the flawless organization of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Bishkek.

Speaking to reporters after the official events ended, Putin said the summit required a tremendous amount of work and was held at the highest international level. He congratulated Japarov's entire team on the result.

Putin also highlighted the importance of the documents adopted at the forum. “We should start by thanking the president of Kyrgyzstan and all his colleagues for what they did to organize the SCO summit. It was a great deal of work... Everything was very worthy and at a good international level. Organizationally, everything was flawless, and important documents were adopted. I would like to congratulate the president of Kyrgyzstan and his entire large team on this result,” he told reporters.
