WAPTV to Broadcast Hit Indian Series 'Rajjo'

WAPTV, Nigeria's Family Entertainment Channel, is set to make broadcasting history by becoming the first TV channel in the country to air the popular Indian romantic drama series, 'Rajjo'. This strategic move aims to solidify WAPTV's position in the competitive broadcasting landscape by offering premium programming to its vast global audience.

The series centers on Rajjo, an aspiring athlete from Uttarakhand, whose dreams are met with resistance from her mother, Manorama, due to a hidden past. The drama is fully dubbed and subtitled in English, making it accessible to a wider audience.

'Rajjo' is scheduled to premiere on September 7, 2026. Viewers can tune in Mondays to Fridays at 10 a.m., with a repeat broadcast at 9 p.m. Omnibus editions will be available on Saturdays at 10 a.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. The channel is accessible on DStv 262, StarTimes 116, GOtv 129, and FreeTV 751.
