Water Service Cuts Announced for Lima and Callao Districts June 24-26

Residents in Lima and Callao are advised of significant water service interruptions scheduled by Sedapal from June 24 to June 26. The water utility company has announced temporary cuts affecting 10 districts across the metropolitan area as it conducts essential maintenance on its water storage system.

While the interruptions are planned to be temporary, some areas could experience water outages lasting as long as 12 hours. The maintenance work is crucial for ensuring the continued reliability of the water supply system for the capital's residents.

Key districts impacted by the scheduled cuts include San Juan de Lurigancho, Puente Piedra, Magdalena del Mar, and Surquillo, among others. Sedapal has released a detailed schedule outlining the specific times and zones affected, which encompass various urbanizations, human settlements, and housing associations. Residents are urged to consult the schedule to prepare for the temporary lack of water.
