Wawasan candidates' wins in Negeri Sembilan elections hailed as significant achievement

Parti Wawasan Negara (Wawasan) has made a notable impact in the Negeri Sembilan state elections, securing victories in three of the four seats it contested. This achievement is particularly significant for the party, which was established only about two months ago.

Party President Hamzah Zainuddin described the outcome as a "significant achievement," emphasizing that it proves voters have placed their trust in Wawasan candidates to represent their voices in the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly. He pointed to Ridzuan Ahmad's win in the Gemas state constituency as a major point of pride, where he secured a majority of over 12,000 votes, a substantial increase from the previous term.

Additionally, Razali Abu Samah successfully captured the Sikamat seat, considered a stronghold of the former Menteri Besar, winning by a majority of 4,443 votes. The party's youth candidate, Danni Rais, also emerged victorious in Klawang, defeating a candidate from the Parti Amanah Negara who had previously served as a State Executive Council member. Hamzah stated that these successes reflect the party's commitment to the future and the interests of all Negeri Sembilan residents.

Competing as part of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition, Wawasan's winning candidates were Razali Abu Samah in Sikamat (15,052 votes), Ridzuan Ahmad in Gemas (16,153 votes), and Danni Rais in Klawang (5,310 votes). Hamzah assured that the elected Wawasan assemblymen would provide the best service to the people and fulfill the party's objectives and commitments.
