Weapons, meth, and ammo seized in Tanhuato, Michoacán raid

National Guard and Army forces conducted a raid near Tinaja de Vargas in Tanhuato, Michoacán, resulting in the seizure of a significant quantity of illegal arms and narcotics. The operation uncovered an inmueble containing 12 firearms, comprising eight long guns and four handguns, along with 21 magazines and 500 rounds of ammunition.

In addition to the weaponry, authorities confiscated 30 doses of a substance believed to be methamphetamine. The raid also yielded four motorcycles, a vehicle, and various pieces of tactical equipment. Elements from the Secretariat of the Navy, Secretariat of Citizen Security and Protection, the Attorney General's Office (FGR), and the State Attorney General's Office participated in executing a technical investigation order.

The confiscated items have been transferred to the FGR office in Morelia, where further investigations and forensic analyses will be conducted. The Secretariat of National Defense stated that the operation adhered to the rule of law and respected human rights, aiming to uphold public order and peace.
