Weather to improve in Lithuania from Friday, temperatures to rise

Lithuania is set to experience a gradual improvement in weather starting Friday, with temperatures expected to climb.

This week, the country has been under the influence of cyclone Cerry, bringing intermittent rain and thunderstorms. Tuesday will see the cyclone lingering, causing more rain and thunder, primarily during the day. Winds will be varied, starting light at night and becoming fresher from the west during the day, with stronger northwesterly winds along the coast.

By Wednesday, Cerry will move away, but rain clouds will still affect the country, though with less intensity. A small cyclone near Lithuania on Thursday will bring more rain and thunder, with daytime temperatures struggling to exceed 20 degrees Celsius in some areas. Nights will remain cool.

From Friday, forecasts indicate less rain, accompanied by light, variable winds. While nights will still be cool with potential fog, daytime temperatures will rise. By Sunday, a further warming trend is expected, with conditions becoming significantly warmer by the following Monday.
