West Ham break EFL record to sign Engels for £22m

West Ham United has secured its fourth summer signing, bringing in defender Engels for a reported £22 million. The club views the young player as a key target to bolster their squad for the upcoming season.

Engels arrives at West Ham after a successful spell with Celtic, where he won back-to-back Scottish Premiership titles. His previous experience includes playing for Augsburg and starting his career at Club Brugge. He has also made four appearances for the Belgian national team.
