West Java Governor Awards Persib Bandung Rp 1 Billion Bonus from Cattle Sale

West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi has presented the Persib Bandung football club with a bonus of Rp 1 billion. The handover ceremony took place during a plenary session at the West Java Regional People's Representative Council on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Mulyadi announced that the funds for the bonus came from his personal savings, generated from selling his cattle. He stated that the price of his cows ranged from Rp 40 million to Rp 60 million each, and the Rp 1 billion bonus represents the proceeds from selling a significant number of them. Several prominent figures attended the event, including CEO of PT. Persib Bandung Bermartabat (PBB) Glenn Sugita, Deputy CEO Adhitia Putra Herawan, and Persib player Achmad Jufriyanto. Manager and Commissioner of PT PBB, Umuh Muchtar, also known as Haji Umuh, was present. Mulyadi further pledged that if Persib Bandung successfully defends its title again, the club would receive a bonus of Rp 2 billion. He reiterated that the money used for the bonus was exclusively from the sale of his livestock.
