What Time Is Qualifying for the 2026 Italian Grand Prix?

Formula 1's Italian Grand Prix reaches its qualifying session on Saturday, with Franco Colapinto looking to build on a strong start to practice at Monza. Qualifying begins at 11 a.m. Argentina time and will be available live only through Disney+ Premium. Fox Sports will show the content later on a delayed basis.

Twenty-two cars are entered in qualifying, although only 21 drivers will determine their starting positions. Kimi Antonelli will begin Sunday's race from the back of the grid after receiving a penalty for changing his engine, making his qualifying result largely irrelevant for his starting place.

Antonelli leads the championship with 242 points, ahead of Mercedes teammate George Russell and Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton, who each have 183. McLaren's Lando Norris is fourth on 159 after winning the last two races. With Antonelli already set to start last, his closest rivals will have an opportunity to reduce the gap built during his five victories in the first six races.

Colapinto is 12th in the drivers' standings with 19 points. The Alpine driver is far behind the leaders but has produced his best campaign in Formula 1, earning a renewed seat for 2027. Mercedes leads the constructors' championship with 425 points, followed by Ferrari on 338. Alpine is sixth with 63.
