Willie Walker takes charge as head coach of Fijiana XV

Willie Walker has officially been appointed as the new head coach for the Vodafone Fijiana XV, Fiji's national women's rugby union team. The announcement followed a press conference, marking a significant step for the team as it prepares for a demanding international calendar.

Walker arrives with a decorated coaching background, notably his previous roles with New Zealand's Black Ferns XV program and most recently as head coach for the Blues Women. He recently guided the Blues to a victory over the NSW Waratahs over the weekend before flying into Fiji. His extensive experience is expected to provide a substantial boost to the Fijiana XV.

The appointment comes at a crucial time for the Fijiana XV, as they gear up for upcoming Test series, including matches against the South African Springbok Women.
