WISTA Jamaica to donate hurricane relief supplies to affected school

The Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) Jamaica is set to provide crucial hurricane relief supplies to Carisbrook Infant and Primary School in St. Elizabeth on Saturday, August 15. This initiative aims to bolster the school's ongoing recovery efforts following the devastating impact of Category 5 Hurricane Melissa, which struck Jamaica in October 2025.

The essential items and resources being donated are funded by the proceeds from WISTA Jamaica's recent High Tea fundraiser. This event successfully brought together members of WISTA, maritime professionals, corporate partners, and supporters from Jamaica's shipping, logistics, and broader business sectors, all united in their support for the association's Hurricane Melissa Relief Initiative.
