Woman attempts suicide by pills, wrist-cutting, and gas; teams rescue her

Emergency services in Kayseri, Turkey, successfully intervened to save a 31-year-old woman who attempted suicide. The incident occurred at a 10-story building on Camikebir Mahallesi 4330. Sokak, where the woman, identified as H.Y., resided on the 7th floor.

According to initial reports, H.Y. attempted to end her life by ingesting medication, slitting her wrists, and leaving the natural gas turned on in her apartment. The severity of the situation prompted a swift response, with multiple police, fire, and medical teams dispatched to the location.

Firefighters were the first to arrive and managed to breach the apartment door. Once inside, medical personnel administered immediate first aid to H.Y. She was subsequently transported by ambulance to Kayseri City Hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment.

Police teams conducted an examination of the scene as part of an ongoing investigation into the incident. The authorities have initiated a formal inquiry to understand the circumstances surrounding the attempted suicide.
