Woman charged after four stabbed near Covent Garden

A 47-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a stabbing incident near Covent Garden in central London that left four men injured. Stella Gollovena, who has no fixed address, faces charges of four counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and one count of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

Police responded to Endell Street around 12:30 BST on Wednesday after reports of the attack. The four male victims, aged between 34 and 56, were found with stab wounds. They were transported to the hospital by paramedics, but their injuries were not considered life-threatening or life-changing. All four have since been discharged.

Gollovena was apprehended at the scene and taken into custody. She is scheduled to appear at Highbury Magistrates' Court. London's Air Ambulance was deployed and landed in Trafalgar Square following the incident, though the injured men were taken to the hospital via road ambulance.
