Woman Confronts Delivery Driver Over Sidewalk Parking, Dubbed "Lady Banqueta"

A heated confrontation between a woman and a delivery app driver in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, has gone viral, sparking widespread online discussion and earning the woman the nickname "Lady Banqueta."

The incident occurred when the driver, identified as Lázaro, briefly parked in front of the woman's property to consult a delivery address on his phone. The woman emerged and insisted he was blocking the sidewalk and encroaching on private property, demanding he move his vehicle.

The driver refused, stating he was not parked directly at her house. The woman then threatened to call the police and moved to make the call. Meanwhile, the delivery driver contacted the customer and proceeded to the delivery location.

However, the woman followed him on foot to confront the customer as well. The customer attempted to de-escalate the situation by explaining that GPS navigation can sometimes be inaccurate, but the woman remained unconvinced and continued to record the driver.

The video of the altercation has garnered millions of views on TikTok. Following the incident's viral spread, numerous delivery drivers from various apps gathered outside the woman's residence in a show of solidarity with their colleague.
