‘Woman of courage’, Otti celebrates Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu on birthday

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State extended warm birthday felicitations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, characterizing her as a "woman of strong will and courage."

On a day like this, I feel excited to celebrate my sister and friend, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, on the occasion of her birthday.

In a message issued by his special adviser on media and publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma, Governor Otti celebrated Mrs. Odumegwu-Ojukwu, the widow of the late Nigerian military leader Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, on her 57th birthday. He referred to her as an "Amazon from the East" who has excelled in various capacities and continues to demonstrate that "with courage and character, nothing is too big for any human being to accomplish."

Governor Otti recalled Mrs. Odumegwu-Ojukwu's steadfast support for him, dating back to his previous gubernatorial bid under the All Progressives Grand Alliance platform. He lauded her as an "honest, just, and courageous Nigerian" who has diligently and positively represented womanhood. The governor also acknowledged her commendable successes since her appointment as foreign affairs minister, deeming her a significant asset to the Igbo Nation, Nigeria, and humanity at large.
