Woman SRP among 7 named in PDOs suspected of gang links

A Woman Special Reserve Police officer is among seven individuals named in preventive detention orders (PDOs) published yesterday, with authorities alleging their involvement in organized crime. Officer Jennessa Joseph was identified in a PDO as a member of the “Pegus OCG,” a criminal group accused of firearms trafficking, narcotics production and distribution, armed robberies, shootings, and murders.

The notice alleged that Joseph provided transportation and supplied information about police operations to the Pegus OCG. Furthermore, she is reportedly linked to recent homicides connected to an ongoing conflict between the Pegus OCG and another criminal organization, the “Barry Maraj OCG.” Authorities also claim she is connected to a series of armed robberies in the Siparia district and planned firearm attacks on rival gang members.

Bernissa Hazzard, also known as “Nissa,” was identified as another alleged member of the Pegus OCG. She is accused of providing financial support, accounting, transport, and accommodation for the group. Like Joseph, Hazzard is reportedly linked to recent homicides stemming from the conflict between the two OCGs and to planned attacks on rival gang members.

The other individuals named in the PDOs are Spencer Jae Reveillac, Kaseem Sampson, Treston Pegus (alleged leader of the Pegus OCG), Harlon Adams, and Clayton Harewood. Reveillac is identified as a member of a group involved in the illegal firearm trade and was allegedly found with an unlicensed firearm and ammunition. Sampson is also linked to this discovery. Pegus is accused of directing the Pegus OCG's activities and finances and is reportedly connected to homicides and planned attacks. Adams is accused of providing transport for the Pegus OCG.
