Workshop Empowers Indonesian Woman, Opens New Culinary Horizons

Oci Rosita's eyes welled with tears as she recalled her experience at the "Perempuan Berdaya" (Empowered Women) workshop in West Bandung, Indonesia, on August 5, 2026. For the owner of Ceuocchyque_culinary, the training was more than just knowledge acquisition; it opened new avenues for her business.

The workshop equipped Oci with skills to transform sweet potatoes into various cakes, creating potential new menu items for her food venture. "This training helped me, giving me new menu items for my business. I learned to make cakes from sweet potatoes, adding to my offerings," Oci shared in Jakarta on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

She felt deeply moved by the opportunity, describing the knowledge gained as a valuable, unforgettable experience. "I was touched, so emotional because I received knowledge and more, and everything was facilitated. Truly, thank God," she said.

Oci admitted the workshop, initiated by Sandiaga Uno, significantly boosted her self-confidence. She now feels more certain that women have equal opportunities to grow, create, and contribute to their communities. "I cried. I believe I can be like the great women out there. Women must empower and support each other to stay motivated and keep going," she added.
