Marc Cucurella, a key player in Spain's World Cup victory, has fulfilled a bold promise by getting a tattoo of national team coach Luis de la Fuente's face. The image, inked on Cucurella's left forearm, depicts de la Fuente holding the World Cup trophy.

Cucurella had publicly pledged to get the tattoo in June, just before the World Cup, during an interview with Spanish radio station Cadena COPE. He described it as a "good memory" if Spain were to win the tournament, though he was still considering the exact placement.

Following Spain's triumph, coach Luis de la Fuente reacted to the player's commitment. While he jokingly advised Cucurella to get the tattoo in an inconspicuous spot, he also emphasized the significance of honoring one's word. "If you promise something, you must keep your word," de la Fuente stated.

Cucurella was a standout performer during the World Cup, playing every minute as Spain secured their second world title without a single loss. He recently transferred from Chelsea to Real Madrid in June.
