World Cup fever grips Colombian fanzones after team's win over Ghana

The streets of Colombia erupted in jubilation as the national team clinched a 1-0 victory against Ghana, securing their passage to the Round of 16 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Fanzones across the country transformed into scenes of ecstatic celebration, filled with hugs, cheers, and Colombian flags.

Thousands of fans gathered in Bogotá's designated viewing areas, many adorned with face paint and traditional Colombian attire like the 'sombrero vueltiao'. The atmosphere was electric from hours before kickoff, with chants of "Vamos Colombia!" echoing through the crowds.
