Music spills onto the street from a house in Kulosaari, where an Argentinian flag and balloons in the same colors adorn a balcony. Inside, Minna Kononen, 49, and her husband Ricardo "Diego" Ferreyra, 51, are hosting a viewing party for the World Cup final.

"We bought a projector just for this," Ferreyra said, gesturing to the setup. The couple invited family and friends, and due to the impressive nature of their balcony studio, Ferreyra also extended invitations to neighbors to ensure no one missed out on the "world championship atmosphere."

Around twenty guests are expected, including one Spanish friend whose attendance is uncertain. Inside, Argentinian jerseys are displayed as props and for guests to wear. The family's daughter, Suvi, 9, predicts a 2-1 victory for Argentina, while guest Paul Dima anticipates a 3-1 win.

Kononen has prepared Argentinian-inspired food, including sausages, chimichurri sauce, and bread. "Argentinians eat a lot of meat," she explained. Football is deeply ingrained in the family, with Ferreyra having played since childhood in Argentina. All three of their children now play the sport.

Ferreyra noted the passionate discussions surrounding the tournament, including refereeing decisions and political controversies. "People are passionate about the games and the sport. It's normal for reactions to occur," he stated. The couple also uses the World Cup to document their relationship's journey, with photos taken during each tournament marking shared moments and family growth, illustrating how football unites them.
