World Nomad Games −2026: Around 600 doctors to provide medical assistance

Kyrgyzstan is mobilizing a significant medical contingent, including around 600 healthcare professionals and a mobile hospital, to ensure the health and safety of attendees at the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit and the World Nomad Games. The Ministry of Health's press center announced the deployment, emphasizing a coordinated approach to medical support.

Discussions between the World Nomad Games organizing committee and the Ministry of Health have focused on organizing comprehensive medical coverage for participants and guests. This includes the strategic placement of medical posts, mobile medical units, and the mobile hospital itself. Additionally, first aid teams will be reinforced to provide prompt and effective care.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations will provide the mobile hospital, which is crucial for delivering necessary medical aid and responding swiftly to any emergencies that may arise. The extensive medical team will comprise specialists in primary healthcare, doctors, personnel from the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary-Epidemiological Surveillance, and emergency response crews.

An operational headquarters has been established within the Ministry of Health to ensure 24/7 coordination of medical services. Reserves of medical teams, medications, equipment, and personal protective gear have been created. Special attention is being paid to the preparedness of medical organizations to handle mass casualty incidents, including infectious and non-infectious threats, poisonings, injuries, and other critical situations. Furthermore, hotels, catering facilities, drinking water quality, and other sites relevant to the safety of participants and guests are under sanitary-epidemiological control.
