Xi Jinping to Visit Kyrgyzstan; Leaders Discuss Cooperation

Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled to visit Kyrgyzstan, a trip discussed during a meeting between Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. The two ministers reviewed preparations for Xi's state visit and addressed key issues in Kyrgyz-Chinese cooperation. They focused on implementing agreements reached at the head of state level and the outcomes of the first strategic dialogue between the foreign ministries.

Discussions also encompassed joint projects in trade, economic cooperation, agriculture, industry, and investment attraction. Both sides emphasized the importance of advancing the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway construction and other major infrastructure initiatives. The meeting also touched upon the implementation of agreements made at the level of heads of state and the results of the first meeting of the strategic dialogue between the foreign ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the People's Republic of China.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the ministers participated in the ceremony for Kyrgyzstan signing the Convention on the Establishment of the International Organization for Mediation and the ceremony for the resumption of the activities of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Osh city.
