Ximena Herrera reacts to Mariana Ochoa's return to "La casa de los famosos México": "The public voted"

Actress Ximena Herrera's participation in "La casa de los famosos México" officially concluded Tuesday when the public voted her out of exile and back to her regular life. Herrera had been isolated in a cabin since her elimination on Sunday, with minimal survival necessities, alongside Mariana Ochoa, the show's first expelled contestant.

The setup allowed viewers to vote for which of the two women would receive a second chance to re-enter the house. Ultimately, the public favored Ochoa, a former member of the group OV7, who returned to the show, taking the spot of Fede Vigevani, who had participated as an infiltrator. Herrera, in contrast, had to say a definitive goodbye.

Far from expressing annoyance, Herrera stated she was content with the outcome. "The public voted, and for some reason Marianita has to be back. I will be watching and cheering them on from the outside, participating in the galas and waiting for my friends," she told EL UNIVERSAL.

Reflecting on her time in the house, Herrera, known for her role in "El señor de los cielos," noted she formed genuine connections with several housemates. "My closeness with Yanet and Brianda was very evident. I also had very good chemistry with Luis and Fede. I also like Ese Pérez a lot... even though he was playing for another team, you know when you connect nicely with someone," she added.

Ochoa's return sparked debate among housemates and viewers, with some finding it unfair given the information she might have gathered while outside the house. Ochoa's position is now secure for at least two weeks, as one of her advantages is immunity from nomination in the upcoming gala.
